About Dereen Sand And Gravel
Dereen Concrete/Sand and Gravel ltd. Was formed in circa 1963 in Dereen, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick and produced concrete blocks/sand & gravel, a store. Today Dereen Sand And Gravel operates from Mountpelier, Limerick and concentrates on the production of sand and gravels together with the treatment of sand and stone and broken concrete through our waste facility permit.
Dereen Sand And Gravel has operated here in Montpelier since 1992, involving itself chiefly in sand and gravel production, together with soil recovery, and the treatment of broken concrete products.
Our sand and gravel products have been used by various concrete product providers such as Roadstone, Liam Lynch Concrete, McGrath Quarries, O’Connell Concrete and many more.
All our employees are trained in Health and Safety and are accredited with the safe pass system and have attained the Quarry Skills Cert Scheme.
